About Account Registration
What documents are required for identity and address verification when opening a personal account?
Two separate documents are required for Identity Verification and Address Verification.
Please note that you cannot use the same document to serve both purposes simultaneously.
【Identity Verification】
Government-issued documents containing a photo, full name, date of birth, and expiry date.
Accepted Documents:
■Passport
■Driver’s License (MyNa driver’s licenses are not accepted*)
■My Number Card with photo (Notification cards are not accepted)
Note: The verification process requires you to photograph your ID document and take a selfie. Please ensure you have a camera-enabled device ready.
【Proof of Address】
Documents issued by government agencies or financial institutions containing your full name, current address (including prefecture), and issue date.
※Proof of address documents must be issued within the last 3 months or be currently valid.
Accepted Documents:
■Certificate of Residence (Juminhyo)
■Utility bills (electricity, water, gas, etc.)
■Documents or letters from financial institutions
■Certificate of Health Insurance Qualification Information
■My Number Card with photo (Notification cards are not accepted)

What documents are required to open a business account?
【For Japanese Corporations】
・Certificate of All Historical Matters (Rireki Jiko Zenbu Shomeisho / 履歴事項全部証明書)
・Proof of Corporate Address (Utility bills, documents from financial institutions, or other public bodies)
・Identity Verification Documents for all Directors
・Proof of Address for all Directors
・Identity Verification Documents for all Shareholders [holding 25% or more of shares]
・Proof of Address for all Shareholders [holding 25% or more of shares]
【For Overseas (Non-Japanese) Corporations】
・Certificate of Incorporation (CI)
・Certificate of Incumbency
・Certificate of Good Standing

About Deposit
How long does it take for a deposit to be reflected in my account?
【Deposits from Japanese Banks】
Normally, the funds will be reflected in your Peska Wallet in as little as 5 minutes to approximately 1 business day.
However, if there are any discrepancies in the deposit information, the transaction may be placed on hold. If your deposit is not reflected after some time, please contact Customer Support with the following information:

【Deposits from Overseas Banks】
Typically, deposits are reflected in your Peska account within 2-5 business days. However, processing times may vary depending on the sending bank. Once the transfer is complete, please be sure to send the remittance slip (proof of payment) along with the information below to Customer Support:

Is there a limit on how much I can deposit?
There is no maximum deposit limit.
However, please contact us in advance if you intend to deposit an amount exceeding USD 300,000 / JPY 50,000,000 / EUR 300,000 / GBP 300,000.
How much is the deposit fee?
We do not charge any deposit fees.
However, please note that any transfer fees charged by your bank are to be borne by the customer.
How can I make a deposit?
You may deposit funds via both Japanese and overseas banks.
About Withdrawal
How can I make a withdrawal?
You can withdraw funds to Japanese banks or overseas banks.
How long does it take for a withdrawal request to be processed?
Withdrawals are typically processed within the same day or up to 2 business days.
Is there a minimum or maximum withdrawal amount?
【Partner Companies】
For withdrawals to Japanese Banks:
-Minimum withdrawal amount: JPY 10,000
For withdrawals to Overseas Banks:
-Weekly withdrawal limit: USD 50,000
-Monthly withdrawal limit: USD 100,000
-Minimum withdrawal amount: JPY 100,000 / USD 1,000 / EUR 1,000 / GBP 1,000
【Personal Users & Business Users】
For withdrawals to Japanese Banks:
-Maximum withdrawal limit (Personal Users & Business Users): JPY 10,000,000
-Minimum withdrawal amount (Personal Users): JPY 6,000
-Minimum withdrawal amount (Business Users): JPY 10,000
For withdrawals to Overseas Banks:
-Weekly withdrawal limit: USD 10,000
-Monthly withdrawal limit: USD 50,000
-Minimum withdrawal amount: JPY 100,000 / USD 1,000 / EUR 1,000 / GBP 1,000
How much is the withdrawal fee?
For withdrawals to Japanese banks, a fee of 0.2% of the withdrawal amount will be charged.
For withdrawals to overseas banks, prescribed fees will apply depending on the currency.

About Peska Transfer (P2P)
How long does it take for the recipient to receive the funds?
Generally, transfers are credited to the recipient’s account immediately.
However, transfers may fail if the recipient’s account is invalid or if the email address is incorrect.
Is there a maximum transfer limit?
There is no maximum limit for transfers between Peska accounts.
How much is the transfer fee between Peska accounts?
The fee is 0.5% of the transfer amount.

What is a scheduled transfer?
With a scheduled transfer, you can set the date, time, amount, and frequency in advance. You can schedule either a single transfer or multiple recurring transfers.
About Foreign Currency Exchange Service
Where can I check the exchange rates?
You can check the Exchange Rates on the Top Page of the Member Page.
Can I exchange other currencies besides USD, JPY, EUR, and GBP?
Currently only four currencies are available. We plan to gradually expand our supported currencies in the future

How much is the exchange fee?
There is no fee for currency exchange.
